The town is celebrated for its Greek heritage, architecture and is ideally located for exploring Lecce (a 25-minute drive), Otranto (a 20-minute drive), renowned wine and olive oil trails and many of the region\'s popular beaches. The pristine beaches of Spiaggia Alimini and Baia dei Turchi are both a 20-minute drive.

History lovers will enjoy popular sites like the Castle of Monti (a 15-minute drive) and the Aragonese Castle of Otranto (a 20-minute drive).
