Taeri Sifnos

We loved everything. My husband my daughter and I stayed for a few nights in the two bedroom apartment, which had a view to the sea. The apartment was brand new, but built sympathetically to the landscape and to the island’s traditional stone houses, and it was and beautifully fitted out. The beds were comfortable, it was extremely clean, and each bedroom and the main living space had its own airconditioning unit which was powerful and quiet. We loved that Taeri is situated away from busier parts of the island so it was peaceful and relaxing but only a short drive away from anything we wanted to do. The apartment has a view to the sea, there is a pool and parking at the property. The hosts were lovely and went out of their way to try to ensure that we had a wonderful stay in Sifnos - which we did. Their attention to detail was amazing- from the beautiful finishes of the property and the apartment to the the welcome sweets -special Sifnos amygdalota and biscuits, fresh flowers from the garden in the vase by the door, to the traditional Sifnos chickpea soup Revithada (made in a traditional clay pot by our hosts using their family recipe) and served to us on Sunday. They also kindly shared with us their love of the island with wonderful recommendations for restaurants, beaches, places to see and island walks in wilder, less travelled places.

Everything was wonderful. The owner was so kind, and gave us the best tips for beaches and restaurants. The room was lovely and the location as well (we where with a car)

Het was enorm schoon. Er werd elke dag zo grondig schoongemaakt dat het leek alsof we opnieuw arriveerden. Het bed en de douche waren erg comfortabel. De eigenaresse was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het was er ook lekker rustig. Alsof je even alleen op de wereld bent. En ze hebben een schattige kat rondlopen.

It was windy the days we were there and we couldn’t enjoy the pool but that’s cyclades!
