Due to this the village centre has been designated as a conservation area and is picture perfect in every way with a central village green and with it's local shops and pubs forming the focal point. There are two excellent pubs one overlooking the village green,The Red Lion and The Crown, both serve local ales and delicious home cooked meals with produce sourced from farms nearby.
