Sand and Stone Resort

Room nicely decorated and clean.

Could hear neighbours loudly for hours until 2 am, having showers, running water, flushing as though they were in our room, talking, their tv. Needs much better sound barrier/insulation between rooms. Light under wall mounted microwave could not be turned off so was on all night. Wifi or cable out on tv constantly making it very hard to watch.

We had such a wonderful and special stay at Sand and Stone Resort. We came from sunny, warm Florida to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and I wanted this trip to feel extra special. I contacted the resort in advance and asked if they could help me prepare a little surprise for him — and they went above and beyond. When we arrived, there were beautiful balloons in his favorite color scheme, a bottle of Prosecco, and a delicious chocolate cake waiting for him. It was such a thoughtful and personal touch and made his birthday unforgettable. The property itself is beautiful, modern, very clean, cozy, and welcoming. Everything felt fresh and well cared for. We also absolutely loved the sauna — after spending the day outside in the cool Canadian weather, relaxing and warming up in the sauna together was perfect. It became one of our favorite moments of the stay. The whole experience felt peaceful, romantic, and special. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and the kindness of the staff. Thank you for helping us create such beautiful memories!

Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like. Everything was clean, comfortable, thoughtfully prepared, and exactly what we needed for our special getaway. We only wish we could have stayed longer!
