Some holidays are all about slowing down, spending quality time together, and creating memories that stay with you long after you've returned home. Owen Glen Cottage has been thoughtfully designed with exactly that in mind.

On the outskirts of Clifden, this beautifully renovated cottage combines modern comfort with the relaxed charm of Connemara, offering the perfect base for families and groups of friends looking to explore one of Ireland's most spectacular regions.

Step inside to discover bright, welcoming interiors finished to an exceptional standard. At the heart of the home is a spacious open-plan living area where everyone naturally comes together. The contemporary kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need for effortless holiday dining.

Comfortably sleeping up to eight guests across four beautifully appointed bedrooms, Owen Glen Cottage offers plenty of space for everyone to relax. Two of the bedrooms feature private en-suite bathrooms, providing added comfort for couples or multi-generational families, while a family bathroom with a bath offers the perfect place to unwind after a day spent exploring Connemara.

Outside, the generous garden invites guests to embrace the slower pace of life. Children have space to play freely while adults relax nearby. On warm summer evenings, light the barbecue, gather around the picnic bench, and enjoy long outdoor meals surrounded by the peaceful Connemara countryside as the evening sun begins to set.

Despite its peaceful setting, Owen Glen Cottage is just a short drive from the vibrant town of Clifden, often referred to as the capital of Connemara. Browse independent shops, enjoy traditional Irish music in welcoming pubs, sample excellent local restaurants, or simply soak up the lively atmosphere before returning to the tranquillity of your home away from home.

From here, some of Connemara's most iconic attractions are within easy reach. Spend your days discovering the breathtaking beaches of Ballyconneely and Roundstone, hike through Connemara National Park, visit the magnificent Kylemore Abbey, drive the famous Sky Road, explore Killary Fjord, or enjoy countless scenic walks, cycling routes, boat trips, horse riding experiences, and family adventures throughout the region.
