Our lodging is the perfect retreat for people seeking peace and quiet and a break from city life. The garden surrounding the house offers (in addition to a handful of hammocks) free concerts—sung by over 300 species of birds that pass through here throughout the year. It’s simply a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with nature. A short hike to the nearby beach, with its small fishermen’s huts and cliffs, takes just 20 minutes—enough time and distance to rediscover your inner child along the way. The garden is surrounded by two fields: you’ll be immersed in fresh air and peaceful silence, interrupted only occasionally by a passing tractor. In the distance, you can hear the sound of the sea.


Sundre Kommun is a community that strives to offer diverse spaces for a variety of creative individuals, artists and art lovers, nature lovers, outdoor enthusiasts, and adventurers of all kinds. On our farm, we host a colorful mix of vacationers, traveling artists, yoga instructors, and work-and-travelers.

The house is suitable for children ages 10 and up.
