There are miles of walks and bike trails to explore from the doorstep, including the coast-to-coast walk. Northallerton is the nearest town with its abundance of shops and tea-rooms or head towards Richmond with its cobbled market square, Norman Castle and Easby Abbey and Saturday market with local traders selling local produce.

Be welcomed by a small entrance hall, ideal for hanging your coat and leaving boots behind. The hallway leads you down to the sitting room with comfortable sofas and a central fireplace and offers beautiful views of the gardens and lake, this is the perfect spot to snuggle up in the evening in front of the Smart TV. The kitchen leads off the sitting room and features everything you need to rustle up a romantic meal for your loved one. Equipped with an electric hob and oven, fridge, washing machine and microwave. Open the kitchen door and enjoy a glass of wine on the steps and enjoy the vistas of the lovingly well-kept gardens. When its time to retire, head to the bedroom with a king-size bed which invites you to climb in and have a restful sleep. Start the day with a shower in the en-suite shower room with WC.

Guests have access to the surrounding parkland grounds. Take a picnic onto the lawn beside the lake or meander through the private woodland with its abundant wildlife habitats. One off-road parking space is available.
