Right by the sea – A spacious, family-friendly vacation rental with two south-facing balconies!

Hello and welcome to our “Vacation Rental 1” at “Haus Welle” on Wangerooge. It offers cozy comfort and plenty of space for a relaxing getaway by the North Sea for up to six people. Just a short 5-minute walk—and you’re at the popular promenade and the fine-sand beach. The island’s center is also right nearby.

A spacious 95 m² of living space spread over two floors (1st and 2nd floors), along with two south-facing balconies, invite you to relax and unwind. The accommodations are a standalone unit in a townhouse. It was created by combining two vacation apartments, giving you a total of five rooms. Each floor features a bright living room, a separate kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower. There are also two separate bedrooms downstairs and one separate bedroom upstairs. Large windows provide plenty of natural light, modern furniture creates a cozy atmosphere, and maritime island paintings add that special North Sea flair. A special highlight are the two covered, furnished balconies facing south—ideal for sunbathing, enjoying meals together outdoors, or winding down the day with a gentle sea breeze.

After a day at the beach or a bike ride, you can sit together comfortably in the living areas to chat, play games, or watch TV. Each living area is equipped with a TV, DVD player, hi-fi system, and a selection of board games, offering the perfect entertainment for everyone.

Cooking becomes a pleasure during your vacation! The apartment features two separate, fully equipped, modern kitchens—each featuring, among other things, a 4-burner glass-ceramic stove, microwave, oven, and dishwasher. This makes it quick and easy to prepare snacks for an outing or delicious meals. For your first morning coffee or a cappuccino throughout the day, you can choose between a classic filter coffee maker (filter size 4) and a Tchibo Cafissimo PICCO (capsules). A dining table in the living room invites you to enjoy a leisurely vacation breakfast or a dinner together.

Three separate bedrooms provide comfortable places to retreat. The two rooms on the lower floor are furnished with a double bed (160 x 200 cm) and a bunk bed (2 x 90 x 200 cm), respectively; the additional alcove bed can be used for storage. The upper bedroom features two single beds placed in a corner (each 80 x 200 cm). The Hemnes bed can be extended to 160 x 200 cm (with the door open and the other single bed not in use). From this floor, you’ll enjoy a beautiful view of the Old Lighthouse in winter.

Two well-maintained bathrooms make the daily bathroom routine more relaxing when staying with several people. Each is equipped with a shower, toilet, sink, hair dryer, and mirror.

For digital convenience, free Wi-Fi is available.

Additional amenities such as a vacuum cleaner and a clothes drying rack are available. A coat rack is also provided, so you can conveniently store your clothes and travel essentials.

“Haus Welle” is situated in a quiet yet very central location. Just a few minutes’ walk away is Zedeliusstraße—Wangerooge’s main shopping street, featuring small shops as well as cozy cafés and restaurants. It’s the perfect spot to pick up fresh rolls from the island bakery in the morning or take a culinary break after a day at the beach. The fine-sand beach and the popular promenade, with its sweeping view of the North Sea, are also just a few minutes’ walk away. Snuggled in a beach chair, with the cries of the seagulls and the sight of the waves lapping the shore, you’ll want to make time stand still here.

For water sports enthusiasts and active vacationers, Wangerooge offers a diverse range of sports activities—including surfing, sailing, beach volleyball, tennis, horseback riding, and golf.
