Visit the market town of Keswick (18 miles), tee off at Cockermouth golf club (8 miles), or swing from the treetops in Whinlatter Forest Park (15 miles).

Step out to the rear of the property where you’ll find a gravelled courtyard garden and seating by pretty summer flora, perfect on sunny afternoons. There’s also a secure shed for bike storage, along with access to the village playing field. On-road parking is available for one car, at the front of the house. Further on-road parking can be found on the road behind the terrace. There’s a pub and restaurant within a mile, and a shop nearby (1.5 miles).
