The name of our Theresienhof has been linked to a special story for generations. Even today, older residents of Bleiberg say that Maria Theresa is said to have spent her summers here or at this very spot. The story mentions a well, horse stables, and a connection to the once-prominent mining families, the Jakominis and the Holenias.

So far, there is no historical evidence to support this story—it is one of the town’s lovingly passed-down legends. What is certain, however, is that the Theresienhof is deeply rooted in Bad Bleiberg’s centuries-old mining history.

Perhaps it is precisely this blend of history, tradition, and the house’s unique atmosphere that continues to make the Theresienhof such a special place to this day.
