This lovingly and luxuriously furnished thatched-roof house (opened in May 2017) is available to you year-round for rest and relaxation. We have placed great emphasis on a bright and welcoming interior as well as particularly high-quality furnishings.
The cottage, furnished in a country house style, offers approximately 135 m² of living space on a plot of approximately 550 m² in a quiet location. It is located just about 450 m from one of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Rügen (11 km)—the Schaabe
—and leaves nothing to be desired for a relaxing vacation. Outdoor area: the house’s terraces face south and west; comfortable patio furniture (8 patio chairs) and a large patio table; a parasol, and a portable charcoal grill; 2 parking spaces right next to the house; a folding bike rack; a garden shed for storing bikes; and a fully fenced-in property. The Heimathafen vacation home is child-friendly. For our younger guests, we provide a travel crib, high chair, Tripp Trapp chair, step stool in the bathroom, children’s cutlery, an outdoor children’s chair, games, and children’s books. There are board games and books for all ages. Wi-Fi is also available. A washing machine and dryer (free of charge) are located in the utility room.
All rooms have tiled floors and are equipped with heated floors. The Heimathafen vacation home is a smoke-free property. Use of the sauna, dryer, and washing machine is included in the price. A clothes drying rack is provided. The windows are equipped with insect screens and shutters/pleated blinds.
Shops, a bakery, and a restaurant are in the immediate vicinity; excellent cycling and hiking opportunities; 2 pets are allowed (fee: 5 euros per night)
