Each lodge is a bespoke cedar build, combining modern interiors with the warmth and character of natural wood. Inside, you’ll find a cosy yet contemporary space, while outside, a private decking area invites you to slow down and enjoy your surroundings. The highlight for many guests is the hot tub, perfectly positioned for soaking in the calm lakeside atmosphere. Tinted glass and smart positioning ensure a sense of seclusion, allowing you to relax in privacy while still feeling connected to the landscape.
Beyond the lodges, the wider area offers plenty to explore. Just a short walk away, the River Tees provides opportunities for water-based activities, from kayaking to paddleboarding. At Holmewood Lakes we also offer fishing around our lakes for our guests to enjoy or a short walk to our private jetty where you can bring your own equipment and take to the water in any water sport activity you choose or sit and relax by the river or go fishing instead.
