Sky Camp

Amazing experience for our party of six as part of our package with sky Camp. Crucial to know what to expect. Tou arrive at the beautifully appointed Riad desert villa in Merzouga and then if there is time, you take the one hour camel ride through the dunes to the camp itself. If late, you will drive in 4x4 vehicles over the dunes. Either is amazing! Bring ski underwear or similar if you stay in the winter - its cold! The next day you will want to do the extra ATV rental and definitely take a tour of the area. The camp owner did the tour for us to see a lake still left from the massive rains in September 2024, music from an African group, to see mineral extraction and then to visit a nomadic Berber camp. As part of the package we had an outstanding lunch at Riad desert vella- the best Moroccan food of the visit! Unbelievable memories and unforgettable experience.

Amazing experience in Merzouga Tanks for everything Ibrahim

Il deserto VA visto, almeno una volta nella vita, e questo è uno dei modi migliori per iniziare a farlo. Era la nostra seconda volta in queste zone, ed è stata incredibilmente ancora meglio della prima. Un'esperienza indimenticabile, resa ancora più speciale da Ibrahim. È stato gentilissimo e ha curato ogni dettaglio, aiutandoci persino a scendere dal fuoristrada (non è che siamo impedite... è che ci siamo fatte coccolare :D ). Ci ha fatto da guida e ci ha portate tra le dune: un'avventura e un mondo davvero insuperabili. E poi c'era tutto il resto dello staff, super accogliente e divertente; la cena, la musica dal vivo, il falò con tutti e tutte attorno al fuoco, amici, operatori del campo, sconosciuti, ognuno con una lingua diversa e tutti con la voglia di stare bene insieme. La struttura è molto curata, le tende erano spaziose, pulite e dotate di tutti i comfort che ci si aspetterebbero in una stanza di hotel. Insomma, campo e personale super consigliati, per una notte, due, o tre... per conoscere altre persone e per fare delle chiacchiere su cultura locale e curiosità varie.

Cozy, clean, fresh and...yes, a high end accommodation in the sand dunes. Live music in the evening around an open fire complements the beauty of the landscape. You are welcomed after a 50 min-1 h ride in dromedaries from Merzouga with tea. The tent was a haven after a long drive through the dessert. Dinner was very good.
