Looking for an authentic cabin getaway? Lazy Pines is the place! This classic Minnesota cabin has all the modern amenities, while maintaining true Northwood's cabin charm. (See the cabin's 300+, 5-star reviews at listing 692976.)
Main level: open great room/kitchen/living area with vaulted ceilings and a large wood-burning fieldstone fireplace (firewood provided). A screened porch overlooks beautiful Lake O’Brien and the lakeside primary bedroom has a queen sized bed, with beautiful lake views.
Lower level: the walkout basement includes 2 additional bedrooms - the first has a queen-sized bed, and the second is a dedicated bunk-room. Additionally, there is an informal bunk area with a full-size lower bunk/single upper bunk. The lower-level bathroom has beautiful upgraded finishes, including a custom tile shower with river-rock flooring. The living area includes a built-in game/puzzle table, and a cozy sectional/entertainment area—perfect for rainy days or movie nights. The lower level also offers great lake views and easy access to a large lakeside firepit just steps from the water (firewood included).
Amenities: 2023 Bennington pontoon included, Wi‑Fi, two HD smart TVs, granite countertops, wood plank floors, reclaimed details, and modern mechanicals (AC, new appliances, softened water).

Summer activities: fishing, skiing, wakeboarding, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and a popular sandbar gathering spot. Quiet paved township road ideal for walks or bike rides. Winter: ice fishing, cross‑country skiing, snowshoeing, and easy access to groomed snowmobile trails.

It was an amazing property, well maintained and we very much appreciated the use of the pontoon boat The cabin was spacious and comfortable for our family. Our 8 year old granddaughter said she loved swimming with the loon that came right up at our boat then of course dove down. Great stay

Wonderful stay at this property love the fireplace the screened porch having a boat at our feet. Also, the bedroom upstairs had a beautiful view. The Kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms downstairs were nice for the family members to be together. We would definitely come back and the front yard is gorgeous as well. The walk up the driveway and I loved being able to walk around in the area.

Wonderful cabin, woke up to birds in the morning and loon calls at night. Pontoon boat was perfect and clean, caught some bass and sunfish.

A great property in a great setting. The availability of the pontoon boat was a definate plus. There are a lot of stairs which made it harder for the elderly people in our party, but if that is not a concern, everything else met expectations.
