This cosy guest cottage in Dalefield is perfectly located, just 10 minutes from Arrowtown and Ayrburn, 15 minutes from Queenstown, and 20 minutes to Coronet Peak. Nestled in a charming semi rural location, relax in your own 50sqm space. The perfect base to explore the region before unwinding after a day of adventure, in every season.

The Bothy features a bright open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, opening onto a covered patio with a gas BBQ within easy reach. The bathroom and a convenient laundry cupboard are accessed from the living area.

The bedroom has its own separate outdoor entrance, a small walk-in hanging space, and a chest of drawers for additional storage. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, whether you're cooking a quick breakfast or a relaxed dinner after a day of exploring.

Please note I have a couple of friendly Golden Retrievers who live with me in the original homestead on the property. They will likely want to come and say hello at some point during your stay but do let me know if you have any issue with dogs.

The Bothy sits within a larger property that also includes the original homestead and its outbuildings, as well as another residence, Rockwood — our family holiday home — located beyond The Bothy. Rockwood is let out at times, with access via the same driveway that passes in front of The Bothy. Please note that parties are not permitted at either property, and we ask all guests to observe quiet hours between 11 pm and 7 am.

During winter months it is advisable to ensure you have snow chains and / or 4WD vehicle due to the nature of surrounding roads in snowy conditions.
