The apartment features plenty of wood and several antique collectibles.

It has a cozy kitchen-diner with an extendable dining table, a bedroom for 2 people with a wide double bed, and a second bedroom for 3 people with a single bed and a bunk bed, a bathroom with a shower, and a separate toilet. From the large, sunny balcony, the view stretches across the hills of the Hunsrück. The area around the fire pit invites you to sit outside in the garden.



Vacation Rental at Hof Birkenau

Hof Birkenau is surrounded by meadows, fields, and forests above the Primstal Dam. The spacious vacation rental is located in the outbuilding, so you can have complete privacy. However, please feel free to reach out to me if you’d like some tips or need anything.

The farm is equipped with a solar power system and participates in the “Ecological Agriculture” program.

An additional double room with a private bathroom can be booked.

At Hof Birkenau, you’ll also find a small seminar area that can be booked for courses.

The Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park is located right next door. From here, you can hike the Saar-Hunsrück-Steig trail and its romantic “dream loops.” A hike to the largest partially preserved Celtic ring wall—one of the three national park gateways—combines the joy of nature with culture and history. The Planet Trail around the Primstal Reservoir also invites you to take a leisurely stroll.
In the surrounding area, you’ll find beautiful bike trails, and trail riders also enjoy the adventure of roaming through the vast forests.
For larger groups, the studio can be booked as a seminar room and also as shared-room lodging. Price upon request. Campground/bus/RV parking available upon request. Only available during a seminar at the farm.



On-site costs: The price does not include linens; the beds are not made. One set of towels is included in the price. A linens and towel package can be added to your reservation, or you may bring your own linens. Cost for rental bed linens/towels: 12 euros per person. A flat fee of 20 euros applies for dogs; please arrange this in advance. If you are traveling with a dog, please bring your own bedding. Horse: 10 € per day in your own electric-fence paddock; 12 € for a rental paddock, including roughage. Please clean up after your horse yourself.
