Lido Adriano is a quiet seaside resort on the Romagna coast in the province of Ravenna, featuring shallow waters and golden sand, and is primarily frequented by families. It offers many amenities, including beach clubs, a public beach, a pet-friendly beach, bars, restaurants/pizzerias, supermarkets, a pharmacy, shops, piadina stands, a water park, and numerous sports activities (bike trails, swimming, windsurfing, sailing, beach tennis, and go-karting). Marina di Ravenna is located 10 km away; with its numerous evening parties at modern beach clubs, it is a prime destination for nightlife-oriented tourism. Lido di Dante is 4 km away, a seaside resort known primarily for its naturist beach. Mirabilandia, Mirabilandia Beach, and the Ravenna Safari Zoo are 15 km away. Nearby is Cervia with its salt flats and Milano Marittima, a hub for trendy nightspots.
A ten-minute drive away is Ravenna, considered the capital of mosaics; a unique experience (even for those who aren’t art enthusiasts) is a visit to the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia and the Basilica of San Vitale, home to breathtaking mosaics and a destination for many national and international tourists.
Don’t miss the delicious cuisine of Romagna, with its famous piadina and homemade pasta—mostly rolled out by hand with a rolling pin: tagliatelle, tortelli, garganelli, strozzapreti... Don’t miss the traditional “cappelletti di Ravenna,” stuffed with cheese only and served with Romagna-style ragù, accompanied by a good local Sangiovese.
