La Sardagne is a house where you take your time.
Nestled in the middle of vineyards and scrubland, La Sardagne opens onto a vast panorama, from the Pre-Alps to the Alpilles. Only twenty minutes from Vallon-Pont-d'Arc, it allows you to discover the most beautiful sites of the southern Ardèche.
Rated 4 stars, La Sardagne is a completely independent house with its private garden and swimming pool. It can accommodate a couple, a family or friends, up to seven people.
Bathed in light, the rooms invite you to rediscover the soul of a holiday home: one where you live barefoot, where meals last a little longer and where you easily forget what day it is. Every material, colour and object has been carefully chosen, as an echo of the surrounding nature.
This house has always given us space, light and time. We have remained loyal to it.
A swim in the pool. An open book in the shade. A recipe prepared with market products. A lunch that lingers under the pergola. The day that stretches out slowly.

Walk through its Gorges, get lost in the narrow streets of its villages of character, discover its caves, stop at a wine estate, stroll through a market, fill your basket with some good products.

In September and October, the light becomes softer. The days stretch out peacefully, meals continue under the pergola and the evenings end, lulled by the stars.
In autumn and winter, make way for cocooning evenings around the wood stove that heats the large living room.
Whether you come as a couple, with family, friends or simply for a few days in the countryside, La Sardagne is for those who like to take their time, walk in unspoilt nature, discover villages of character and rediscover the sweetness of home.

Some daily essentials and some attentions will await you on your arrival, so that the holidays start as soon as you walk through the door.
THE ACCOMMODATION
Your accommodations are located in a traditional farmhouse in which there are other accommodations, without any vis-à-vis while being close to all the surrounding riches (15 minutes from the Gorges de l'Ardèche, 20 minutes from the Chauvet cave, 30 minutes from Vallon Pont d'Arc, and many villages of character)
You benefit from an independent entrance, a private garden of 1000 m2, a salt-treated and secure swimming pool (alarm) of 9m in diameter and 1.35 m deep, deckchairs, and a terrace conducive to outdoor dining (large table, water point, plancha, shade sail, lighting).
The house is composed as follows:
- The air-conditioned living room: its bay windows open onto the swimming pool. It has a lounge area (sofas, TV, coffee table), a large farmhouse table for meals and games, and a fully equipped kitchen (cooking piano, food processors, coffee maker, etc.). It gives access to the laundry area;
- The master suite with a 160 cm bed and an open bathroom: it is entered either through the living room or through the glass door overlooking the swimming pool;
- The east wing, also accessible from the living room, includes a bedroom with a 140 cm bed, a bedroom with 3 90 cm beds, a bathroom with shower and WC, as well as a separate toilet. The insulation between these two rooms is not soundproof.
ACTIVITIES
Ideally located in the southern Ardèche, 4 km from Bourg-Saint-Andéol, the gîte La Sardagne is nestled a stone's throw from the Gorges de l'Ardèche, one of the most beautiful canyons in Europe.
A privileged environment, between wide open spaces, villages of character and preserved nature. The region offers a multitude of activities: hiking, swimming, outdoor adventures, Chauvet cave, Saint Marcel cave..., cultural visits and discoveries of local products.
It is also possible on request to organize a personalized fasting/hiking or detox/hiking stay with Christelle, the eldest, a qualified guide from the French Fasting and Hiking Federation for almost 10 years and a naturopath by training.
