O tym ten wynajem wakacyjny
This charming detached former coach house sits amid the rolling Dorset countryside, on the edge of the picturesque village of Ansty. Just a mile away lies Bulbarrow Hill, offering superb walking routes and sweeping views across the Blackmore Vale towards Somerset and Wiltshire.
The Old Coach House welcomes you the moment you step inside, with its bright, airy interiors and calming atmosphere. A large enclosed garden provides ample space to unwind — perfect for you and your four‑legged companion - with beautiful rural scenery as your backdrop. The tranquillity here is irresistible; you'll find yourself relaxing effortlessly, accompanied only by birdsong and the gentle countryside hush.
The sitting/dining room offers comfort throughout the year, complete with a cosy wood‑burner for snug evenings in front of the television. The well‑equipped kitchen makes preparing delicious meals a pleasure, though if you prefer a night off, the friendly village pub, The Fox Inn, is just a short walk away. The accommodation is ideal for friends or families, with a cloakroom on the ground floor and two inviting bedrooms upstairs, along with a family bathroom and a separate shower room. Both bedrooms can be arranged as king‑size rooms, or one can be configured as twin singles to suit your needs — ensuring a restful night's sleep after exploring Dorset's scenic footpaths and charming villages.
Outside, a patio furnished with garden seating and a parasol awaits, offering the perfect spot for al fresco dining or simply enjoying a favourite drink while soaking up the peaceful surroundings.
If you wish to venture beyond Ansty, you'll find numerous pretty villages and walking routes nearby. The county town of Dorchester is a pleasant drive away, with acclaimed museums, weekly markets, independent shops, cafés, and restaurants. You might also explore Sturminster Newton and its historic mill, visit Sherborne's two castles and magnificent Abbey, or head further afield to the breathtaking Jurassic Coast — a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Whatever your reason for taking a break in Dorset, The Old Coach House is the perfect choice.
