Tucked into the trees of The Hideout — a gated, four-season community in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains — this cozy four-bedroom retreat is built for the kind of trip where nobody's in a hurry. Warm wood siding, a private jacuzzi, a steam shower, an indoor fireplace, and a dedicated game room give the home real character, while full access to The Hideout's lakes, beaches, pools, ski hill, golf, and tennis puts an entire slate of amenities a few minutes from the door.

The space
Four bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms give everyone room to spread out — easy mornings, no bottlenecks, two city blocks from the lake and a private corner to retreat to at the end of the day. The layout flows from a fully equipped kitchen into open living and dining space, so cooking, gathering, and unwinding all happen together, with the indoor fireplace keeping things cozy on cool nights.

Guest access
Guests have the full run of the home and everything in it, plus access to The Hideout's community amenities:

Two lakes & sandy beaches
Outdoor pools
Golf course
Tennis & sports courts
Ski hill & tubing (seasonal)
Hiking trails + seasonal recreation

The pools, beaches, and outdoor courts are free to use; a handful of amenities carry a small nominal fee depending on what you use.

Other things to note
The Hideout is a private, gated community with 24/7 security, so a short rental registration is required for entry — your property manager will send everything over after booking. The home sits among neighboring properties (it's a community, not a secluded lot), and the driveway can get steep in winter, so all-wheel or four-wheel drive is recommended in snow.
