At the heart of Pīwakawaka is the open-plan living space, bringing the lounge, dining area and fully equipped kitchen together. It’s a comfortable space for slow breakfasts, shared meals, afternoon drinks and evenings spent together.

Open the doors and let the coastal air in, or head outside to enjoy the two distinct outdoor living spaces. The spacious deck is surrounded by native forest and birdsong, while the private courtyard offers another peaceful spot to sit back and relax.

Three Comfortable Bedrooms

Pīwakawaka has three thoughtfully appointed bedrooms, each designed with comfort and relaxation in mind.

The master bedroom is a peaceful retreat with a comfortable bed and a calm, restful feel — perfect for unwinding at the end of the day.

The second bedroom has two king single beds, making it a flexible space that works beautifully for both adults and children. Its high ceiling gives the room a lovely sense of space.

The third bedroom features a comfortable queen bed and a high ceiling, with natural, calming artwork adding to its relaxed feel.

Quality bedding and linens help make each room a comfortable place to retreat to after a day exploring the coast.

Cleverly Designed Bathroom

Although Pīwakawaka has one bathroom, it has been thoughtfully designed with the shower, vanity and toilet each in their own separate space. This means they can all be used at the same time without getting in each other’s way — particularly handy for families or groups getting ready for the day.

There’s also a hot-water outdoor shower, perfect for rinsing off sandy feet after a day at the beach.
