As you walk in from outside, the living room opens immediately with a Smart TV for logging into your favorite streaming apps and free WiFi throughout.

The kitchen is directly connected and continues through into one of this unit's most useful features: a common area pass-thru that opens between the kitchen and the bedrooms. This pass-thru is a genuinely smart space for kids who don't need privacy, giving families flexibility that a standard two-bedroom floorplan simply doesn't offer.

The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, and all the dishes and utensils needed to cook real meals — a practical detail. Multiple seating options: breakfast bar seating and a dining table gives different spots depending on the meal and the mood.

There is no pool on this property. We will simply point out that there is a rather large one called the Gulf of Mexico about 2.5 blocks away — free admission, no wristbands required.

FIVE REASONS TO BOOK:

· Ground floor with direct exterior access — no stairs anywhere between the car, the front door, the bedrooms, or the backyard. For families with strollers, coolers, beach wagons, or anyone who just refuses to haul sand-crusted gear up a staircase after a long beach day, this layout pays for itself on the first afternoon. Walk in, set down, done.

· Two bedrooms handle the adults; the common area pass-thru handles the rest — a queen bunk w/single pull out trundle, a full-sized bed, in pass thru, plus a twin sleeper sofa in the living room and a queen airbed on standby. Eight guests in a two-bedroom is a claim most properties make and cannot actually deliver. This one does.

· Honest positioning: this is an older yet maintained, clean, functional condo — not a remodel. The kitchen is fully stocked for real home-cooked meals that save real money & time on the island. Two families splitting this unit will find the value math works better here than almost anything else available on SPI

· Up to 2 pets are welcome — a more open policy than most SPI rentals. The complex is small and quiet, kept that way by a security patrol that enforces occupancy, vehicles, and noise. Quiet means it — and that is actually a selling point for families who want to sleep or with younger children or Grandma with.

· On the quiet west side of Padre Blvd — half a block to the bay, walkable to Whataburger, South Padre Brew Pub, Blackbeard's Seafood, F&B Fine Dining, and Senor Donkey. Need more space? All four units in the Coastal Four complex can be booked together — the best-value way to host a large extended family or a group of friends


SLEEPING (Up to 8 Guests)

Master bedroom: one queen bed.

Guest bedroom 2: a bunk bed with two full-sized mattresses — two real sleeping surfaces for two people each, a solid setup for kids or adults comfortable with bunks.

Common area pass-thru: a bunk bed with queen-sized mattresses with a single pull out trundle bed under bottom bunk,, plus a separate full-sized bed — three more sleeping surfaces in a single flexible room that earns its square footage.

Living room: a sleeper sofa that folds to a small twin-sized bed for the final guest.

A full-sized airbed and pump are also provided as a backup — bring your own bedding if you plan to use the sleeper sofa, the pull out trundle, or the airbed. Fresh linens, blankets, bath towels, and kitchen towels are provided for all permanent beds.

Maximum occupancy is 8 guests. Infants and toddlers count in that number. Worth saying honestly: this home is comfortable for 8 when children are in the mix. A group of 8 adults is the tighter end of the arrangement, and we want your group to arrive with accurate expectations.

THE BACKYARD

A large common backyard behind the unit is shared among all four Coastal Four condos — a genuinely spacious outdoor area that handles your BBQ grill without crowding. While we do not provide a BBQ grill, guests are welcome to bring their own. All we ask is that you clean up after yourself and leave the area as you found it for the other units sharing the space.
The ground-floor access makes moving between the backyard and the unit as simple as possible.

LOCATION

Coastal Four sits on the quiet west side of Padre Blvd off Huisache — a residential pocket of the island that is genuinely peaceful without being inconvenient. The bay is half a block away and the beach is 2.5 blocks — we do recommend bringing a beach wagon for the trip back with chairs and gear.

The walkable dining from this location covers real range. Whataburger is 2.5 blocks away and open 24 hours — a detail that matters more than expected on a beach vacation. South Padre Brew Pub, with craft beers and some of the best pizza on the island, is about 4 blocks. F&B Fine Dining and Senor Donkey Mexican Cantina are both about 5 blocks for a proper sit-down meal. Blackbeard's Seafood and Steaks is a casual family restaurant open for lunch and dinner and worth knowing about.

The entertainment district is a short drive or golf cart ride away for everything else the island has to offer.

PARKING

One dedicated off-street parking space is included at no charge — free, unlike hotels on South Padre Island that all charge per car. There is no additional guest overflow parking at this property.

Maximum of one vehicle strictly applies; a golf cart counts as a vehicle toward that limit. Street parking is not available — vehicles parked on the road will be ticketed and towed. If your group is arriving with more than one vehicle, contact us before arrival and we can point you toward free off-site parking options that work well for this location though we do not guarantee nor provide.

This complex has four 2-bedroom condos in total — inquire if you would like to rent more than one or even all four units for your extended family or friend group. It is the most cost-effective way to keep a large group together on South Padre Island.

High-speed WiFi is included throughout the condo; please note that Spectrum service can be spotty at times, so come prepared with a hotspot on your phone if you have must-do work as it can go down. As we are on an island, we do not provide reimbursement or compensation for WiFi or internet outages.

DISCOUNTS — JUST ASK
Reduced rates for off-season stays of four nights or more (September 15 – December 15), veterans and active military, and current Texas tackle football coaches (our sons play for Lake Travis in Austin — Go Cavs!). Send a message before booking and ask.

POLICIES
Primary guest must be 23 or older and present at check-in. Guests under 23 require prior approval before booking — an additional substantial refundable damage deposit applies if approved.

Maximum occupancy is 8 guests at all times, infants and toddlers included. You cannot exceed max occupancy; violation is grounds for eviction with no refund. Maximum of one vehicle — a golf cart counts toward that limit. Street parking is not an option and will result in towing.

Up to two pets are welcome for a small fee per pet — please contact us before booking to review the pet house rules and confirm the fee. Guests must read and agree to all house rules pertaining to pets prior to booking.

This is a family-oriented complex. Loud noises and music are never permitted. Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 9 PM to 9 AM every day of your stay. The property is security patrolled for occupancy levels, vehicles, and noise compliance. No parties, no exceptions.

If any of this is a concern, Coastal Four is likely not the right fit — and we say that openly so everyone has a good trip.

A signed digital rental agreement and a valid photo ID are required before door codes are released. You must read and agree to all house rules prior to booking — failing to do so is not grounds for a cancellation or refund. We are happy to answer questions before you book. Strict cancellation policy applies. Check-in is 3 PM, check-out is 11 AM.
