Applewood is a quiet, established neighborhood located just a short drive from some of the best that Colorado has to offer including:

**Downtown Golden: Approximately 10–15 minutes by car. Explore Washington Avenue, local restaurants and breweries, shops, parks, and the scenic Clear Creek corridor. Golden is also a gateway to hiking, biking, and other mountain adventures.
**Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre: Approximately 15–20 minutes by car. Spend the day hiking among the iconic red sandstone formations or catch a concert under the stars. Travel times can vary on concert days.
**Clear Creek Whitewater Rafting: Approximately 25–35 minutes to the main rafting outfitters in the Clear Creek/Idaho Springs corridor. It's one of the closest whitewater rafting destinations to the Denver metro area, making it easy to turn a morning at home into an afternoon on the river.
