Summary:

Two three story apartments in a downtown Savannah duplex, booked together for up to 12 guests, about a 10 minute walk to Forsyth Park.

6 bedrooms (2 king master suites, 4 queen guest bedrooms), 4 full baths and 2 half baths. Each third floor master suite has its own bath, a private balcony and a projector.

No garage, just two driveways with 4 off street parking spots total.

Two full kitchens, a washer and dryer on the ground level of each apartment, and a TV above each living room's decorative fireplace.

Self check in. No pets, no smoking indoors, no unapproved parties.



The Space:

Main floor of each apartment: a living room with a sofa, armchairs and a TV above a decorative, capped fireplace, plus an open kitchen with a dining table. There are no bedrooms on the main floor. Each apartment has a half bath.



Second floor of each apartment (17 steps up): two queen bedded guest bedrooms, each with a 32 inch TV, and a full bath.



Third floor of each apartment: the king bedded master suite, with its own bath, a private balcony and a projector for movie nights.



In all there are 6 bedrooms: 2 king beds in the master suites and 4 queen beds in the guest bedrooms. Every bed has a 14 inch memory foam mattress with soft and firm pillows. A pack n play and a booster high chair are kept at the home.



The kitchens have a refrigerator with freezer, electric stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, blender, pots and pans, dishes and silverware, and wine glasses. Each apartment has its own washer and dryer on the ground level, plus an iron, hair dryers and room darkening shades in the bedrooms.



Parking: no garage, just the driveway on each side of the brick building, each fitting two compact cars, four spots total, with a 120 volt outlet on the back porch guests can use to charge an e bike. Please do not block the sidewalk. Free street parking is also available on East Waldburg Street, first come, first served.

Guest Access:

You have both apartments, A and B, in the duplex, the shared fenced backyard and patio, and the driveway.



Another rental unit, the carriage house, and a long term tenant are on the property and are not part of your stay. The backyard and the side entrances are shared. Ask us if you need space for a larger group.



Please keep noise down between 8pm and 8am, as the city ordinance requires. No pets. Parties and events must be cleared and coordinated with us first.



The Neighborhood:

This is a special neighborhood, about half residents and half visitors, with the charm of the city. There are bars, restaurants, coffee shops and shops within walking distance, and Forsyth Park is about a 10 minute walk away. You are in the middle of it all, but away from the chaos and late night noise. The Kroger grocery store is two blocks away.



Getting Around:

You can walk anywhere in the downtown, historic and Starland districts. If you would rather ride, a free shuttle picks up at Forsyth Park and runs around the historic district, the Downtowner is available by app, and a cab or rideshare is easy to find and affordable anywhere downtown.



Other Things to Note:

Each apartment has three levels. You climb 17 steps to reach the second floor, where the two guest bedrooms are. The master suite is on the third floor.



Please leave your shoes at the door. Quiet hours are 8pm to 8am. Please treat the home, the other guests and our neighbors with care and respect. We ask every guest to review the house guidelines and complete a quick ID check before arrival.



Professionally monitored exterior security cameras cover the property's entrances and the courtyard. They are only in public areas and are active during your stay. Please do not block them.



You will hear typical city sounds such as trash collection, street sweeping and emergency vehicles. There is a sound machine by each bed to help light sleepers.



We stock starter amounts of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and laundry detergent, enough for a typical 3 day stay. Several convenience stores are nearby for more.



We spray for bugs every quarter, but in Savannah you may still see palmetto bugs, wasps and other insects. Keep windows and doors shut, bring food only to the dining room and keep trash in the trash can.



Smoking is allowed outside only, in designated spots. Please use the provided ashtrays.



Interaction with Guests:

We live close by and can help day or night. Reach us through the app or by phone.



Check in is self check in from 4pm. Your door codes and step by step instructions are sent through the app by 3pm on your arrival day, so please read the check in guide before you arrive. Check out is by 11am.
