Accommodations
A quiet, cozy, deluxe suite on the top floor of the mansion, offering views over the Old Town along the Mainkai and across to the Spessart. You’ll find a spacious entryway, a uniquely designed bathroom with toilet and shower, and a modern U-shaped kitchen-living area featuring ceramic cooktops, a fridge-freezer combo, and a stove with oven—all fully equipped, of course, from the coffee maker to the kettle. In the cozy bedroom, you’ll sleep in the utmost comfort on a box-spring double bed made of solid Nordic wood, featuring multi-zone mattresses and temperature-regulating down comforters. In the living area, two additional guests can spend the night on a high-quality sofa bed. As throughout the entire house, ceiling-mounted radiant heating systems are installed here as well, providing a pleasantly even distribution of warmth. In keeping with the style, sun-yellow roller blinds on all five windows of the apartment offer privacy, while the hardwood floors make the rooms pleasant to walk on and are just as easy to maintain as the bright, airy, and generously sized bathroom.
The suite is leased on a long-term basis to a company that houses its managers here for on-site appointments. It can be booked if available. Minimum stay: 3 days.
Right next to the apartment complex, you’ll find the Mainkai promenade, perfect for strolling and sunbathing; there’s also a well-run international restaurant with sun terraces, a lounge, and a vaulted cellar. Just 80 meters up the road, the market square is lined with several restaurants—ranging from Chinese and Greek to one of the best Franconian brewery taverns, the Bräustüble. You’ll also find bakeries, butchers, and all other shops for your daily needs within walking distance around the market square.

The Hofstallung Anno Domini 1716 is centrally located in the heart of Marktheidenfeld’s Old Town. It offers cozy apartments that are specially tailored to the needs of business travelers staying in the area for an extended period. Depending on availability, it’s usually also possible to book one or more apartments for short-term stays. Just 50 meters from the idyllic riverside promenade along the Mainkai and not much further from the market square with its restaurants, butcher shops, bakeries, and grocery stores—so you can easily take care of your own needs in just a few minutes. The Hofstallung complex itself consists of two building ensembles—a half-timbered barn over 300 years old and the manor house with its striking half-timbered design. We acquired both in early 2018 and brought them up to the latest standards through extensive renovation. The property was completely gutted; the half-timbered structures were restored, and—using exclusively eco-friendly and natural materials—a total of 10 perfectly tailored, climate-controlled living units were created. The exterior facade was preserved, including the wood-and-clay infill and the underlying masonry of natural bricks. Inside, a perfectly comfortable indoor climate was achieved using all-natural insulating plaster and similarly natural insulation materials; the interior construction itself was carried out using sand-lime brick and timber framing. The inner courtyard offers storage space for bicycles, while vehicles can be parked in the 24/7 monitored underground garage located just 3 minutes away. Wagnergasse itself is restricted to resident traffic only, guaranteeing an incomparably peaceful atmosphere right in the heart of downtown. Right next to the apartment complex, you’ll find the Mainkai promenade for strolling and sunbathing; there’s also a well-run international restaurant with sun terraces, a lounge, and a vaulted cellar. Just 80 meters up the street, the Marktplatz is lined with several restaurants—ranging from Chinese and Greek eateries to one of the best Franconian brewery taverns, the Bräustüble. You’ll also find bakeries, butchers, and all other shops for your daily needs within walking distance around the Marktplatz.
