Sure Rest Guest House

This is a brand new renovated guest house. You are welcomed by friendly staff and comfortable, cozy rooms. The fact that everything is brand new in the rooms was my absolute favourite.

Upon arrival the extractor fan wasn’t working and wasn’t covered, however, the staff acted quickly and closed it the following morning. The guesthouse is still being renovated so the noise levels were a bit disturbing but I didn’t mind. There was no shower caddy as well. The apps on the tv was outdated and made it difficult to watch tv.

The beds were big enough for all 4 of us and it is in a quiet environment

The bathroom window was non-existent. The room was too small. There were no cupboards to keep food stuff. There was only 1 towel for the 4 of us to share and when we asked for the 1 to be washed after 2-3 days, it was never returned to us. The stove had problems and we had to share with other people, meaning if there are people cooking, you have to wait for them to finish before you cook. Most of the time you’d find dirty dishes in the sink when you want to use it. The electricity tripped a couple of times during the beginning of our stay. Whenever you leave or enter the compound, you have to ask for the host to open the gate for you. There were no pegs for guests to use if they want to hand wash and use the washing line to hang clothes. You have to pay to use the washing machine and the host uses personal judgement as to how much you pay based on the amount of clothes you want to wash
