My brother and I stayed here five nights in September 2025. This is a wonderful house on the water with beach access and island views looking north to Orcas Island. It’s a great point of origin for walks and bike rides, and you could kayak from the beach since it’s a low bank. This is a custom home with high quality furnishings. The kitchen has everything you need but be sure to bring salt/pepper and cooking oil. The pillows are good but the beds need upgrading. The guest room beds were so uncomfortable that my brother said they were the only deterrent to returning. Otherwise, the only other recommendation I would make is for the lower kitchen cabinets to get cleaned out. And the space under the kitchen sink needs a good cleaning.

This house on Shoal Bay was a terrific place to spend thanksgiving. The house had everything you’lol beed to cook and enjoy a fabulous meal including an amazing view. Super close to the ferry and a short drive to town as well as all the great hiking and view spots.

This house was very clean, cozy and quiet. We loved the giant windows overlooking the bay, the jetted tub, and walking down to the little beach just steps from the house. Definitely recommend.

The house was a treat with a beautiful view and small beach. The house is very comfortable and accommodates guests well. We really appreciated the convenient location to town, ferry, and it was a great starting point to our day. Highly recommend.
