The Space:

Just a few minutes away, the gleaming sands of Galveston Beach await – but you’ll love this charming, elevated home so much, you won’t want to leave. Complete with string lights, rocking chairs, a gas grill, and patio table, the wraparound second-floor deck is the perfect place for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Inside, the vaulted ceiling makes the open floor plan feel even more spacious. Characterful touches like shiplap and exposed wooden beams meld seamlessly with modern updates. The modern, fully updated kitchen – with a pressed tin backsplash – offers everything the chef needs to cook up a masterpiece. Grab a barstool at the kitchen island, or step outside to dine alfresco on the deck.

At the end of a fun day, make yourself comfortable in the recliner and stream your favorite shows…or call it a night in what’s sure to be one of the most unique bedrooms you’ve ever slept in – think 'treehouse modern.' A comfortable queen bed features four thick ropes instead of banisters, and a landscape painted behind the bed helps set the treehouse scene. But before falling asleep, save time for a bubblebath in that copper soaking tub. Extra perks at this home include a washer/dryer, free WiFi and cable, and central AC.
