Beautiful view to Sutherland lake.

We really enjoyed our stay - particularly the view of the lake, hanging out on the dock and taking the kayaks out on the lake. The cabin was also very clean upon our arrival. The only issue we experienced was weak water pressure, but this may just be a nuance with "cabin-living".

My wife described this place as “semi-rustic”. We thought it would be more refined for the price. The twin beds in the upstairs bedroom are fine for kids but no adult would want to sleep on the soft mattresses that lack a box spring. The oven is circa 1980. The dishwasher doesn’t work. There’s a clothes washing machine but you aren’t allowed to use it. The cabin is on a ridge with a steep walk from the parking spot to the cabin, and an even steeper walk to the water from the cabin. The deck furniture and chairs near the fire pit are in poor condition. The deck, steps, and railing of the porches need a fresh coat of stain. The property is run by Vacasa, not the owner. My experience thru VRBO with Vacasa has been suboptimal. Upon arrival it was somewhat poorly cleaned without any toilet paper, the kitchen floor needed sweeping by us, grease on the stove top and back deck table needed to be wiped up, and ants on the kitchen counter. But, Vacasa did respond and send TP and coffee filters as requested. The description and photos raised the property to the price point requested on our initial review of the listin, but the reality fell short. It’s definitely overpriced for a single couple to stay here alone for what you get. Not a bad choice for a family of four, though. The pros: Beautiful view, fire pit, and hot tub. If just two people planning a trip to ONP, I would suggest looking for more economical options, such as those offered by the national park around Lake Crescent.
