O tym ten wynajem wakacyjny
Hikari House is shaped by wabi-sabi, the Japanese idea of simplicity and natural imperfection, on five acres of untouched Mojave between Copper Mountain and the boulders. Plaster, Shou Sugi Ban and artisan details meet walls of glass, and a 20-foot bifold door folds the living room into the view. Dip in the saltwater plunge pool facing Copper Mountain, eat under 100-year-old olive trees, then sink into the sunken fire pit under dark skies. Three queen bedrooms. Imperfect, on purpose.
The Space:
Hikari House is a modern desert home on five acres of untouched Mojave desert, inspired by the Japanese wabi-sabi idea of simplicity and natural imperfection. Plaster finishes, Shou Sugi Ban accents and artisan details meet walls of glass and a 20-foot bifold door that opens the living space to the views. Outside, a saltwater plunge pool, a sunken conversation fire pit and two outdoor dining areas sit among boulders and ancient olive trees. With three queen bedrooms and two full bathrooms, one bedroom in an attached glass casita, it suits small groups of up to six. Mix something at the 1970s bar and carry it down to the conversation pit.
