From the moment you walk in, you'll notice how open and airy the main level is, with large windows framing stunning pond and sunrise views from nearly every angle. Step out onto the attached deck and watch the colors change over the water — it's the kind of view that makes you forget what day it is.

The main level is designed for gathering. A fully stocked kitchen flows into a bright dining area and comfortable living space, making it easy to cook, eat, and relax together without feeling cramped. The main floor master bedroom offers a private, peaceful retreat with a queen bed and everything you need for a great night's sleep.

Head upstairs and you'll find two additional bedrooms — one with a twin-over-twin bunk set perfect for the kids, and a second with a full-size bed and a private quarter bath. The loft area include a kids Lego table and another set of twin over twin bunks!

But the real surprise? The walkout basement. Spacious, functional, and full of possibility — the lower level features a large living room area, a full bathroom with fresh towels, foosball table, games, theatre room and direct walkout access to the patio. It's a perfect hangout space for movie nights, game nights, or just spreading out.

With 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, bunk sleeping in two locations, and bonus living space on every level — Orchard Pond Retreat comfortably sleeps more than you'd expect and gives everyone room to breathe.

Outside, the fire pit patio is made for evenings under the stars, and the pond is right there waiting — kayaks, paddleboards, ice skates, or snowshoes depending on the season.

Lake Access
The public launch just around the corner (less than a 10-minute walk) is your go-to for everything Lake Six — a sandy-bottomed, crystal-clear swim spot and the perfect put-in for boats, jet skis, and pontoons. Simply park your trailer in our spacious driveway and you’re minutes from one of Minnesota’s clearest lakes. Back at the retreat, explore the private pond via kayak, canoe, or paddleboard through a shallow channel that connects directly to the lake.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Winter at Orchard Pond
When the temperatures drop, Orchard Pond Retreat truly comes alive. This area is a winter playground, and you're right in the middle of it. The state snowmobile trail runs nearby, and the lakes serve as a natural highway for snowmobilers looking to explore the region. Ice fishing is practically at your back door — drop a line right on the pond or head out to the bigger lakes nearby.

Strap on a pair of snowshoes or lace up your skates and enjoy the pond from a completely different perspective.

When you're ready for a bit more adventure, Detroit Mountain is just a short drive away for downhill skiing and tubing — perfect for families or anyone who wants a full day on the slopes without a long haul to get there. Whether you're a hardcore ice angler, a casual snowshoer, or just someone who loves cozying up by the fire after a cold day outside — winter here does not disappoint.
