It's quiet out here, with no neighbors and plenty of parking for cars, trucks and boat trailers. The Big Creek Park boat ramp is about a 5-minute drive (around 2 miles), and Texas A&M is about 30 minutes away, handy for game days.



Challenge your group to ping pong, relax in the big backyard, and stay connected with Starlink WiFi.

The Space:

About 2,900 sq ft of room to spread out:

The open living and dining area seats the whole group, the full kitchen is set up for family meals, and the game room has a ping pong table. Outside there's a large yard, a patio and lots of parking, with room for trucks and boat trailers.



We're on well water with a treatment system, and there's a filter jug in the kitchen.



Guest Access:

This property is locked using a smart lock. Guests gain access to this property through a door code.



You will be sent a 4-digit access code along with your check-in message. If you do not receive this code before your check-in time, please contact us through the AirBnb app.



The Neighborhood:

The house sits on the quiet north side of Lake Somerville near Big Creek, with no neighbors close by. It's not lakefront: the Big Creek Park boat ramp is about a 5-minute drive (around 2 miles). The lake is known for fishing (white bass, hybrids, catfish, crappie and largemouth), boating and the trails at Lake Somerville State Park.



For dinner and day trips: Somerville is about 15 minutes away, Caldwell about 30, and Brenham about 35, with local restaurants, shops and Blue Bell Creameries. Message us and we'll share our current dinner favorites.



Getting Around:

You'll need a car. Approximate drive times:

- Big Creek Park boat ramp: about 5 minutes (around 2 miles)

- Somerville: about 15 minutes

- Caldwell: about 30 minutes

- Texas A&M / College Station: about 30 minutes

- Brenham: about 35 minutes

- Round Top: about 1 hour



There's plenty of parking on site for cars, work trucks and boat trailers.



Other Things to Note:

Game days and family visits: Texas A&M is about 30 minutes away. In December, the house works well for families visiting for the holidays or for Texas A&M's December commencement (Dec 11-12).



Water: we're on well water with a treatment system, and there's a filter jug in the kitchen.



Check-in is 3 PM and check-out is 10 AM.
