Shanhai Wutong B&B (Yalong Bay Sun Bay Road)

This is honestly one of the most wonderful stays we’ve had in Sanya, and Shanhai Wutong in Yalong Bay really blew us away. If you’re tired of loud, over‑crowded resort hotels and long for a quiet tropical escape, this place is absolutely for you. Nestled deep in lush tropical greenery, the whole property feels like a little hidden tropical sanctuary. As soon as you step into the courtyard, all the hustle and bustle melts away. Warm natural‑style decor, soft lighting and plenty of green plants create such a soothing, laid‑back atmosphere. It’s incredibly peaceful here, yet getting around Yalong Bay is surprisingly convenient. Our room was generously sized and immaculately kept. The bedding was soft and cozy, making every night’s sleep so restful. We loved spending quiet mornings on the private balcony, breathing fresh air and listening to birds chirp among the trees. Lots of little thoughtful touches made our trip extra pleasant — sweet welcome fruit plates, reliable mosquito repellent and well‑selected toiletries were all thoughtfully arranged for guests. The infinity pool is absolutely dreamy. Lounging by the pool under palm trees in the afternoon with a cold drink is pure vacation magic, and every shot you take turns out stunning. There is also a cozy tea lounge upstairs where you can sit and unwind after a day exploring the beaches and scenic spots.❤️🩵 What impressed us most was how genuine and warm the whole team is. There is no stiff, robotic hotel service here. Whenever we reached out to the butler, replies came quickly and our requests were handled with great care. Their complimentary shuttle service within Yalong Bay to the beach saved us a huge amount of trouble with transportation. The homemade seafood noodle for breakfast deserves a special mention — rich, flavorful broth loaded with fresh local seafood, it quickly became our favourite morning ritual.
