Spend your days wandering the private loop hike, taking in the scenery, enjoying cocktails on the covered patio, or relaxing by the gas fire pit carved directly into the native rock. At night the Milky Way is visible overhead.
Inside, the living room's huge west-facing windows make sure you never miss a sunset. The kitchen was designed around the view and equipped like a chef's kitchen, with high-end finishes and everything you need to cook comfortably.
Both bedrooms feature top-of-the-line Casper hybrid mattresses, organic bedding, and cozy bathrobes for your comfort. Fast Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace make the home equally suited for remote work or unplugging completely.
The Ridge is close to Giant Rock, Joshua Tree National Park, and our favorite local desert experiences, but if you choose to stay in, the property itself offers everything you need to fully experience the beauty, quiet, and scale of the high desert. It feels like having your own private corner of Joshua Tree, without the crowds.
Because the high desert is teeming with native wildlife including coyotes, desert tortoises, bunnies, and families of quail, we ask that dogs remain on a leash whenever they are outside.

Two bedrooms, one bathroom. Each room has its own heat and AC. A wood burning stove warms the living room on cold nights. The house is reached by a county groomed dirt road and most 2WD cars are fine in normal conditions. Septic system and a hot water tank, so shorter or staggered showers keep everyone happy. Quiet hours run 7 PM to 7 AM and exterior lights go off at 11 PM. The dark sky and the silence are a large part of why people come. We are reachable by message throughout your stay.
