Husky Hideaway is in a great location, walking distance to UVillage, Burke Gilman and Husky Stadium. It’s a cozy old home with 2 medium sized bedrooms and small kitchen but with everything you need.

The house itself is full of character and tucked away in a nice residential neighborhood near the U Village. It's a great location.
The house has the charm of an older home, complete with squeaky old wood floors and limited counter space in the bathroom. But the bathroom floor is pretty gross. It appears to be cork peel and stick tiles, so they are caked in years of dirt and there are gaps between the tiles. We put a couple towels down to stand on while we were in there.
Additionally, the house was dirty when we arrived. While someone had taken the time to fold the toilet paper into a V, the floors hadn't been swept and there was trash laying in places. Someone's used napkin was on a dining chair, there were used hair ties on the bathroom floor, there were bits of plastic in the front room, and some white powder on the bedside table. The level of visible dirt left us worried about what we couldn't see. I thought the house was cute and quirky, but based upon the lack of cleaning, it's unlikely I'd stay here again.

This little house was perfect for our needs. I visited with my 2 teenagers for college tours and athletic events at UW, and it was the perfect home-base for the week. It's tucked away in a quaint little neighborhood - with tree--lined streets and cafes within walking distance - -and within minutes of Husky stadium and UW practice fields, shops, restaurants, grocery stores. We also enjoyed close-by Magnuson park for evening strolls. Many places are entirely walkable from the house, but a rental car was necessary for our needs. We hope to stay here again.

We love the location. Close to our children, U Village, Metropolitan Market, Burke Gilman Trail.
