O tym ten wynajem wakacyjny
Casa Mimo is a small, detached country house located in the heart of the Valle Gran Rey ravine on La Gomera, surrounded by palm trees, traditional crops, and the impressive rock walls that characterize this corner of the island.
It is a simple, cozy, and charming cottage, ideal for those seeking tranquility, nature, and a different way to discover La Gomera. Here, the days begin with a view from the window of the palm grove and the mountains and unfold at the valley’s leisurely pace.
The house features a spacious bedroom with views of the Valle Gran Rey landscape, a full bathroom and a half-bath, a fully equipped separate kitchen, and a cozy living room. The living room sofa can be used as a bed, so the house can comfortably accommodate up to 3 adults or a family of 2 adults and 2 children.
It also features a small private outdoor patio, perfect for having breakfast in the sun, reading in peace, or enjoying a drink at the end of the day.
One of the unique features of Casa Mimo is precisely what makes it special: you can’t drive right up to the door. From the main road, you’ll walk about 200 meters along a rural pedestrian path, surrounded by vegetation and the valley’s traditional landscape. You can park your car near the road. We recommend keeping this in mind if you’re traveling with heavy luggage or have mobility issues.
That short walk is part of the experience: upon arrival, you leave the traffic behind and enter a particularly peaceful setting, where the sounds of nature and the leisurely pace of valley life prevail.
Casa Mimo is especially well-suited for couples, small families, hiking enthusiasts, and travelers who want to discover the authentic La Gomera, away from the large tourist resorts.
Valle Gran Rey is one of the most special corners of La Gomera, a spectacular landscape of ravines, palm groves, small vegetable gardens, and traditional villages that wind their way down from the mountains toward the Atlantic. A place where it’s still possible to enjoy the silence, walk along ancient trails, and discover the island at a different pace.
La Gomera is a true paradise for hiking and nature lovers. An extensive network of trails allows you to explore ravines, forests, lookouts, and small villages, with landscapes that change dramatically over just a few kilometers.
In the heart of the island lies Garajonay National Park, an UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its extraordinary laurel forests, while the coast offers small beaches, cliffs, and some of the most beautiful sunsets in the Canary Islands.
An island for walking, unwinding, and enjoying nature, tranquility, and the simple life.
From Casa Mimo, Valle Gran Rey is the perfect starting point for discovering the most authentic essence of La Gomera on foot.
