• Food & Drink: For a classic mountain evening, La Table Savoyarde on Route du Linga serves fondue, raclette and other Savoyard specialities in a cosy wood-panelled setting. The valley is the home of Abondance AOP cheese, and you can watch it being made at the traditional fruitiere (cheese dairy) in nearby La Chapelle d'Abondance. • Outdoor Activities: The Portes du Soleil ski area links 650km of pistes across 12 French and Swiss resorts, with the nearest chairlift roughly 500m from the door.
