LOCAL FAVORITES

• Food & Drink: For a special evening, Michael's on the Lake serves steaks, shared plates and salads in an elegant setting right on the water. Rock Top Burgers & Brew is the local go-to for craft burgers and a lively bar with the game on, while Tacos El Rey Taqueria is a neighborhood favorite for authentic, no-frills Mexican street tacos.
• Outdoor Activities: Cool off at Surf 'N Slide Water Park, the region's premier outdoor park with a FlowRider surf simulator, a 300-foot lazy river and twin water slides. Golfers can play The Links at Moses Pointe, a scenic desert course carved into the bluffs above the lake, and Moses Lake itself is right at hand for boating, fishing and paddling through the summer.
• Places to Visit: A short drive west in George, WA, the Gorge Amphitheatre is one of North America's most scenic concert venues, set on cliffs above the Columbia River and host to major summer acts. Closer in, the Moses Lake Farmers Market gathers local produce, food and crafts in season, and the Grant County Fairgrounds hosts the county fair, rodeo and year-round events.
