The property sits in a quiet location just outside the historic market town of Crewkerne (3.5 miles), which dates back to Saxon times, and features a choice of cafes, pubs and restaurants and is home to the beautiful Bincombe Beeches Nature Reserve. A little further south, you can visit Beaminster (6.5 miles) and Bridport (13 miles) on the way to the golden sands at West Bay (14.5 miles). From West Bay you can follow the Jurassic Coast which is a World Heritage Site to Lyme Regis, a charming coastal town famous for its fossil-finding past. Also nearby are is The Iron Fort of Ham Hill which is now a Country Park , Barrington Court, and Forde Abbey and Gardens, all within 12 miles.


A pathway winds through stunning mature gardens to this enchanting woodlands glade. From the main living area, a stylish bespoke spiral staircase leads up to the characterful galleried bedroom, tastefully decorated and with a lovely double bed and a refreshing en-suite bathroom.


Heading outside, the generous, enclosed back garden is surrounded by mature trees and makes a peaceful spot for dining alfresco with serene rural views of this glorious corner of Dorset. Guests will also be welcome to play on the shared tennis courts and explore the beautiful gardens surrounding the manor house at the heart of the site. Bike storage and off-road parking for two cars are available.
