Welcome to Captains Tower, an elegantly decorated retreat in the gated WaterSound West community. With a spacious main house and a fully equipped carriage house, there’s plenty of room, and privacy, for everyone to spread out and get comfortable.
The two-car garage makes unloading easy, while the screened-in porch and stunning private pool are ready when it’s time to relax… or time for a cannonball contest. For a breezy ride around the neighborhood, hop on the six-seater golf cart or one of the bikes. Trips to the beach are about to become a vacation highlight.

The first floor is anchored by a large, modern kitchen, designed for seamless entertaining, comfortably seating eight. The living room is super comfy, and there's a half bath and laundry room close by. The gorgeous primary suite has a king bed, porch access, and a private bath, double vanity, walk-in shower, and soaker tub. A guest room has a queen bed, a twin trundle, and its own bath.
Upstairs, a guest room with a king bed, and a guest room with a queen bed, each have their own private baths. And then there’s the lookout tower.. Climb the spiral staircase to the best seat in the house, where wraparound windows and a cozy couch are your new headquarters for gawking at sunsets.
The carriage house is a fantastic private oasis and includes a guest room with a queen bed and full bath, a kitchenette, living area, TV, and balcony. Grandma gets her own place. Everybody wins.
A stunningly scenic boardwalk runs from the back porch through the neighborhood to the beach. Absolutely dreamy. Back home, take a rinse with the outdoor shower, then fire up the Big Green Egg or the propane grill. The community pool is heated seasonally, and the private pool can be heated too for an additional fee.
With plenty of house, plenty of toys, and zero shortage of ways to spend the day, the Captains Tower is next level!

This was a beautiful home with a private pool and had everything we needed. We swam every day in the private pool and took the golf cart to the boardwalk to get to the private beach. Very quiet neighborhood but close to Seaside and The Hub for restaurants and shopping.

The property mananger and homeowners were extraordinarily compassionate and welcoming. The Captains Tower is beautifully decorated, spacious, and spacious. With the large number of queen/king bedrooms and bathrooms it's perfect for an adult family reunion or couples vacation. Having the Master and a second bedroom on the main floor was an asset! All the home furnishings were comfortable and in pristine condition. The kitchen is well-equipt with high end kitchen appliances with everything needed for preparing and serving meals. The wine frig, coffee machines, and barware were delightful and useful additions. We found the dining area large enough to accomodate the entire group, and the the living room had seating for everyone to watch the baseball game on the large screen tv after dinner.The home has a screened in porch where we met in the mornings to enjoy coffee and discuss the activities for the day; the small pool with chairs in the beach end was a perfect for a relaxing dip at the end of the day! There was also a golf cart available, though we did not require its use. The Watersound gated community itself has plenty to offer: a large community pool, a covered BBQ area, and a quiet deed-restricted beach. A real plus is the fact that there are paved parking areas along the streets where renters and their guests may park their cars. You can drive a car to the community pool for the convenience, but for those who enjoy walking it is an easy walk to the pool and then on to the beach. The home is a short bike ride and drive to many resaurants and shops. We are truly grateful to the owners and property management team and would enjoy a return to the Captain's Tower!
