Outside, enjoy the rear deck made for golden-hour views of the coastal wetlands while watching the egrets, crabs and herons feed during high tide. Or simply relax with a beverage and watch the boats drift by through the nearby channel that runs behind the home.

Inside, the space is bright and comfortable with lots of natural light and vintage charm. Recently renovated and restored with modern amenities, while keeping its original 1940’s character. The space is ideal for a small family or a couple’s getaway.

Relax on the front porch, rinse off in the outdoor shower after a long beach day, and end it all watching the sky turn pink over the coastal wetlands. Perfect for up to 4 adults or a small family. A peaceful home base with one of the best sunset views in the Wildwoods-without the boardwalk noise.

ACCESSIBILITY
- 5 minute drive to the boardwalk and the free beaches of Wildwood. Plenty of amazing restaurants within a 2 minute drive.
- 10 minute drive to the beaches and downtown Cape May (you can see Cape May from the back deck).
- 10 minute drive to the bay beaches.
- 15 minute drive to Stone Harbor.
- Walking distance down the street is a Jersey Shore favorite – Hooked Up Seafood!

KITCHEN
Full-size galley kitchen, properly equipped with everything you need. Stainless steel appliances (including a gas stove), microwave, toaster, Keurig Coffee maker, dishware, glassware, utensils, and pots and pans.

OUTDOOR DECKS AND SHOWER
Enjoy the changing tides and wildlife of the back bay while watching the boats drift by along the back channel. Have your morning coffee or evening cocktail and take in the stunning Jersey sunsets. This cottage offers both front and rear decks.
Rinse off in the convenient outdoor shower after a day at the beach. This spacious shower offers both hot and cold water.

COMFORT
Split AC and heating units that will keep the cottage comfortable year-round.
Wifi throughout.

PARKING
Free and easy street parking right out front of the cottage year-round. There is no private driveway but always plenty of parking.

SAFETY:
For general safety purposes, we have installed an exterior entry point security camera to overlook the front of the property.

DOGS:
We love dogs at Salt Marsh Cottage!

Well behaved dogs are welcome! Pet Policy is one dog and must be house-broken, pre-approved and a $25 daily pet fee will be added. Dog must remain with the owner at all times. Damages related to dogs will be charged back to the guest.

We kindly ask that you send a property inquiry PRIOR TO BOOKING. You can send a property inquiry by clicking 'contact host' under the listing property description. We have the right to refuse certain breeds.

QUIET TIME:
Please be a gracious guest. We do have neighbors in the neighborhood who live here year-round. Quiet time outdoors is from 10pm – 8am.
No parties or events allowed on the property.

NO SMOKING:
There is a $250 fee for smoking in the cottage.

RENTAL INFO AND GUESTS:
We do not rent to anyone under the age of 30. All minors must always be accompanied by an adult while on the property. Please do not rent for others! Our agreement is with you, and you need to be present for the entire length of the rental agreement.

The property allows for up to 4 registered guests. If you are planning on having visitors during your stay (guests not registered), we kindly ask that you send a property inquiry PRIOR TO BOOKING to avoid cancellation. Unregistered guests include local friends or family members, high school and/or college students.

You can send a property inquiry by clicking 'contact host' under the listing property description and can include more about yourself, your group, age range of the group, and the total number of guests which will be at the property (whether spending the night or not).

If you do not send us an inquiry prior to booking as described above, we have the right to request cancellation due to us being uncomfortable with the reservation.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT:
Guests must adhere to the check-in and check-out times specified in the agreement. Early check-ins and late check-outs may be accommodated with prior approval and an additional fee.

CLEAN AND MAINTENANCE
Guests are expected to keep the property clean and tidy during their stay. If the property requires additional cleaning beyond what is considered normal wear and tear, including excessive staining of bed linens and towels, an additional cleaning fee may be charged.

NO HARZARDOUS PRACTICES
Please refrain from lighting candles or having any sort of open flame either indoors or outdoors.

HOLD HARMLESS
We do not assume any liability for loss, damage, or injury to persons or their personal property nor accept liability for any inconveniences, damage, loss, or injury arising from any illness, accidents, temporary defects or construction stoppage in supply of water, gas, cable service, electricity or plumbing, as well as due to weather conditions, natural disasters, other people and their pets, personal preferences (i.e. mattress firmness), acts of God, or other reasons beyond our control.
