Further afield is Holkham Hall (13 miles), which is a great family day out with a walled garden, woodland play areas, cycling routes and the beach. For a traditional day at the seaside, take buckets and spades to Old Hunstanton, just 4.5 miles away. Alternatively, head to Pensthorpe Lake to discover the lakes, wetlands and activities for all ages or explore the house and gardens at Sandringham Royal Estate, both within 20 miles.

This light-filled area boasts a contemporary kitchen with all the appliances needed to make meal prep a breeze. There is a small breakfast bar for drinks and informal snacks. The dining area also has two easy chairs set next to patio doors that lead out to the garden, creating seamless indoor/outdoor living. The garden room is ideal for hiding away with a cuppa. If required, there is a sofa bed with access to the chic Jack and Jill shower room, which also serves the delightful downstairs twin bedroom.
