Summary:

Distrito Corazón is an apartment building in downtown Playa del Carmen, steps from 5th Avenue yet away from its noise. This 1-bedroom apartment sleeps up to 4 guests and is flooded with natural light throughout, in both the living room and the bedroom, with exterior views, a balcony and two full bathrooms. Cool off at the rooftop pool with sea views, then walk to the restaurants on Calle Corazón or to Playa Mamitas.



The Space:

Up to 4 guests (maximum 3 adults), in an upper-floor apartment with exterior views and abundant natural light throughout: both the living room and the bedroom are bright all day.

· Living and dining: living room with smart TV and a double sofa bed (best for 1 adult or 2 children), open to the dining area.

· Kitchen: large and fully equipped, with a full-size refrigerator, induction cooktop, microwave, toaster, blender, filter coffee maker with ground coffee and wine glasses, plus cookware and dishes.

· Bedroom: queen bed and exterior balcony.

· Bathrooms: two full bathrooms.

· Also: air conditioning in the living room and bedroom, Wi-Fi, blackout curtains, hair dryer, iron, and complimentary shampoo and shower gel.



Guest Access:

The entire apartment is yours during your stay. You'll also have access to the building's shared rooftop, with a pool overlooking the sea, sun loungers, showers and a lounge area, and an elevator to every floor. Check-in is self check-in, so you can arrive at your own pace. For stays of 6 nights or more, a mid-stay refresh (without linen change) is included at no extra cost; a linen change is available for MXN 500. Extra cleaning during your stay is available for MXN 600. Just ask our team.



The Neighborhood:

Distrito Corazón is on Calle 14 Norte, between 5th and 10th Avenues, in downtown Playa del Carmen: just steps from Quinta Avenida, but away from its noise. Restaurants, cafés, shops and the beach are all within walking distance. Nearby (approximate walking times):

· Calle Corazón, with restaurants and shops on 5th Avenue: under 5 min

· Nicoletta (Italian), Kascabal (Mexican and seafood) and Aldea Corazón (Mexican, with a jungle-style garden): under 5 min

· Corner grocery store: half a block

· Pharmacy on 5th Avenue: under 5 min

· Así Restaurant & Beach Club, with fresh fish by the sea: 4 min

· Logia Café, for coffee and breakfast: 5 min

· ADO Alterna bus terminal (20th Avenue and Calle 12): 5 min

· Super Akí and Mega Soriana supermarkets: 5–10 min

· Playa Mamitas and Mamita's Beach Club: 8–10 min

· Parque Los Fundadores and the Cozumel ferry terminal: 12–15 min



Getting Around:

You won't need a car: restaurants, shops, 5th Avenue and the beach are all within walking distance, and taxis are easy to find. From Cancún International Airport (CUN), ADO buses run directly to Playa del Carmen and arrive on 5th Avenue; from there, the building is about a 7-minute taxi ride (1.6 km). Private taxis and shuttle vans can also take you straight to the building. The building has no parking of its own: there are paid public lots nearby (cash only) and metered street parking for short stops.



Other Things to Note:

The building has no on-site parking (see Getting Around). Playa Mamitas is a public beach: depending on the season, there may be sargassum and beach vendors. HOUSE RULES: All cancelations from VRBO are subject to a 5% fee due to transaction fees • Quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. • No parties or events. • No smoking inside the apartment or the building. • No pets. • Children and infants are welcome. • Do not exceed the number of guests on the reservation. • Please respect check-in (3:00 p.m.) and check-out (11:00 a.m.) times. • Do not share your access code with unauthorized people.
