Designed for one or two guests, Wharanui gives you much more than just a bedroom. You'll have your own bathroom and powder room, separate living and dining area, and facilities for preparing simple meals, giving you plenty of space to relax and make yourself at home.

WHARANUI has a comfortable queen bed, its own heat pump, fresh linen and bedding, and wardrobe space.

The room sleeps up to 2 guests.


YOUR OWN PRIVATE WING

Although the guest wing is part of our home, your accommodation is set apart from our home.

There is a second bedroom within the guest wing, but when you book Wharanui we do not rent that room to anyone else during your stay. It simply remains unavailable, so you have exclusive use of the guest facilities and won't be sharing the space with other guests.

You'll have your own:

LIFE AT HOKIO HIDEAWAY

Hokio Hideaway is a developing rural retreat surrounded by mature trees and open space, with views of neighbouring farmland and snippets of the Tararua Ranges through the trees.

This is a country home rather than a hotel or suburban motel. There are small animals on the property, and you'll experience the sights and sounds that come with rural living.

We're gradually developing Hokio Hideaway into the place we've imagined it becoming, so you may notice some ongoing projects around the wider property. Your guest wing, however, is set up for you to settle in, relax and enjoy your stay.

We're close enough to Levin for shopping, cafés and restaurants, and everything you need, while far enough out of town to enjoy a quieter pace and a little more breathing room.
