The inspiration behind North Star reveals itself after dark. On clear nights, the sky fills with brilliant stars, constellations, and passing satellites. Find the North Star, trace familiar constellations, and you may even catch a shooting star—a memorable way to end your day.



Large windows bring abundant natural light into the home’s multiple living areas. Gather beside the main-floor wood-burning fireplace, play a round on the solid-wood Brunswick pool table, or relax in the bright den off the kitchen. The fully equipped kitchen, featuring a ZLINE gas range, has everything you need for meals shared with family and friends.



The expansive, screened-in three-season porch is a standout, with its own wood-burning fireplace and 65-inch flatscreen TV. Enjoy morning coffee, an afternoon with a book, or a movie beside the fire, surrounded by the peaceful outdoors.



Outside, recharge in the barrel sauna, soak in the hot tub, and enjoy five acres of privacy. A fenced backyard gives your dogs space to enjoy the getaway, too.



The lower level pairs pine ceilings and wainscoting with a wood-burning stove for a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Enjoy Skee-Ball and the wet bar, or stretch out on the enormous couch with seating for up to 12. An 85-inch flatscreen TV with a JBL soundbar and subwoofer makes movie nights especially immersive. A former wine cellar has been converted into a distinctive king bedroom with its own flat-screen TV and an original French wine barrel that honors the room’s history.



Upstairs, the primary bedroom features soaring cathedral ceilings and exposed beams. Its remarkable bathroom is filled with real plants and includes an oversized glass-enclosed shower and a generous soaking tub for two. Bidets in two of the three bathrooms add another thoughtful comfort.

1. **Fireplaces and wood stoves:** Only operate them if you know how to use them safely and correctly. If you are unfamiliar with their operation, please leave them unused.



2. **Lawn appearance:** North Star is a farmhouse with a natural lawn that varies with the seasons and weather. We have it professionally mowed, but we do not seed or water it. Some areas may be dry, brown, or patchy during your stay.



3. **Maximum occupancy and visitors:** The maximum occupancy is 14 guests at all times. Additional visitors are not permitted during your stay. Please do not book if your group will exceed 14 people at any point.
