A townhome in Echo Park with a private rooftop that opens onto the downtown Los Angeles skyline. The main floor is one open room for cooking, eating and gathering, with a marble island, a table for six and a patio off the living area. Two bedrooms upstairs each have their own bathroom, and the entry level adds a third room with a sleeper sofa and a standing desk for anyone working from home. Central air, an attached garage and Sunset Boulevard minutes away, built for a month or longer.


Three levels, roughly 2,200 square feet, and a walled rooftop of its own at the top. The home has two ways in, the attached garage on the entry level and a front door on the main floor reached through the gated walkway, so a household can come and go on different floors without crossing paths.

The main floor is a single open room. The kitchen runs along one wall in concrete toned flat panel cabinetry with marble counters and a marble slab backsplash, a Bosch induction cooktop and oven, a microwave drawer and a French door refrigerator, and the marble island in the middle carries a prep sink and seating for four. A dining table seats six under a wide dome pendant in the corner, and the living area sits at the far end with a sofa, two leather swivel chairs and a television on a long low console. Sheer curtains run the width of the glass, and the door beside them opens to a railed patio with a folding bistro table for two. A powder room off the entry landing keeps the floor practical when people are over.

Both upstairs bedrooms sit on the top floor at opposite ends of the hall, neither one sharing a wall with the living space. The primary takes the larger end with a king bed, a fitted walk in closet with lighted shelving, and an ensuite bathroom with two basins on a floating vanity and a glass walk in shower with a window in it. The second bedroom has a queen bed, a wall of sliding closet doors, two windows and its own bathroom with a shower over the tub.

The third bedroom sits on the entry level, quiet and set well apart from the rest of the house. It has a sleeper sofa, a height adjustable desk, a task chair and open shelving, a window onto the greenery along the walkway, and a full bathroom with a walk in shower just outside the door. It works as an office through the week and a guest room when someone visits.

A private stair leads from the bedroom level up to the rooftop, a walled deck open to the sky with the rooftops and palms of Echo Park in front of you and the downtown skyline off to one side. It faces west, so the sunset lands right on it.

Central heating and air run throughout with thermostats on the upper floors, and the attached garage plus driveway parking means no circling the block for a space. Pets are welcome.


Guests will have access to the entire home, including the attached garage, the patio off the main floor and the private rooftop. The home sits within a small complex of townhomes that share a gated entry and walkway to the front doors. There will be no one else in the home during your stay.

The home sits in Echo Park, one of the more walkable neighborhoods on the east side of Los Angeles. Sunset Boulevard is a few minutes away and lined with coffee shops, restaurants and local boutiques. Echo Park Lake is close by for a morning walk, Dodger Stadium is a short drive, and Silver Lake and Los Feliz are both easy to reach. Downtown Los Angeles is visible from the rooftop and minutes away by car, which makes this an easy base for anyone working in the city.


Most people choose to have a car when visiting Southern California. There are an abundant amount of unique and significant attractions within two hours of this home. If you`re an explorer, we recommend a car.

If you`re the type who wants to arrive and relax at the house on your vacation, Uber and Lyft are readily available as well.

Please note that in the State of CA, guests staying over 30 nights are legally required to sign a legal CAR form with the DRE. Our Broker of Record will send you this CAR form for signature once payment is made. Your reservation will be considered ready to go once the form is signed.

There is a 10 day grace period to return any items taken from the home at check out (keys, garage remotes, etc). Replacement costs will be charged to guests if items are not received within 10 days of check out.

Please note that this is a non smoking property. Any violation of the no smoking policy will result in a minimum $250 fine.

Utility usage is included up to the property`s recent average usage. Any excessive use above that amount may result in additional charges. If applicable, payment for utility overages is due within 14 days of check out.

- Damages and/or failure to pick up after your pet may result in additional charges at check-out. Pets and animals are not permitted at the property at any time whatsoever unless otherwise agreed upon in writing prior to booking. Failure to comply with this will result in an additional charge of up to $1000 and/or eviction without limiting any other legal or equitable remedies available to Owner and/or Company.

- For any items left behind after check-out, guests will be charged the shipping costs and an additional service fee of $25.

- A minimum of $25 will be charged per lost or unreturned keys, fobs, or access cards. Please ensure they are returned before check-out.

- Please note that this is a non-smoking property. Any violation of the no-smoking policy will result in a $250 fine.

- Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM. Please be mindful of the noise level during these hours to respect neighbors and others in the area.

- Guests are responsible for any damage to the property or its contents during their stay. Any damages must be reported immediately to the host to ensure proper documentation.

- Please dispose of all trash in the designated bins provided. If the trash bins are full, please notify the host for further instructions.

- Any unregistered guests are not allowed to stay overnight without prior written approval from the host. Additional guests may result in an additional charge.
