O tym ten wynajem wakacyjny
The Hunting Lodge, situated on a 6-ha centuries-old estate with château, rare wooden pigeon tower, and park with exceptional centuries-old trees, comprises two self-contained wings, the East and West Wings. It is surrounded by its own large wooded garden, in the heart of Champagne’s Argonne Forest.
The 16th-century château, once home to a branch of Adelbert von Chamisso’s family, is France’s only surviving contemporary link to the (French-)German writer, naturalist, and explorer—born nearby—and his family.
The East Wing has three bedrooms; the West Wing two. Ideally suited for 10 guests, the lodge sleeps up to 14 using two sofa beds.
The self-contained wings are ideal for two families or several generations wishing to holiday together while retaining their independence.
The lodge has 2 lounges with fireplaces, 2 equipped kitchens, 3 bathrooms, and four WCs.
Amenities include 2 washing machines, tumble dryer, 3 refrigerators, freezer, video and DVD players. 4G Wi-Fi is available for an extra fee.
Terrace with garden furniture and barbecue.
Exclusive use of the 5 × 10 m swimming pool, approximately 50 m away in the château park. Equipped with a telescopic enclosure, it is open from April to November.
The garden has a children’s play area with a lookout tower, swings, etc. A table-tennis table is located in a games room in one of the other château outbuildings.
12 bicycles, all sizes, available to hire. Cot available for an extra fee and high chair on request.
Peaceful countryside, with deer, wild boar, and other wildlife, at the heart of the historic Great War sites, while shops and restaurants in Ste-Menehould, 8 km away. Reims, Épernay, Châlons-en-Champagne, Bar-le-Duc, Nancy, Metz and Luxembourg at excursion distance.
Pets are accepted for an extra fee.
Bed linen and end-of-stay cleaning are optional and payable on site.
