The Accommodation:

In the down-to-earth neighborhood of Ruhrort, with its typical Ruhr Valley charm (some find it a bit rough around the edges, with a mixed crowd—but that’s just normal for the Ruhr Valley), we’ve created a very practical and centrally located retreat. We’ve focused on high-quality furnishings and a cozy, inviting decor. The 106-square-meter apartment (3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms) offers a wonderful experience for 6 people, featuring king-size beds designed to meet the highest standards.

If you’re traveling with a large group, we can accommodate up to 12 people (2 people per king-size bed). Hypoallergenic bedding from Schiesser ensures the perfect cozy feel. We’d especially like to point out that the apartment is very well connected, with a train stop right outside the door. From there, it’s an 11-minute ride directly to Duisburg Central Station.

We’ve paid close attention to great design throughout the entire apartment. The apartment is fully equipped and offers plenty of space even for large groups, thanks to a large bathroom and an additional guest restroom. This also includes the spacious, fully equipped kitchen. The large bathroom features a shower with a standard showerhead and a Grohe rain shower. Shower gel, shampoo, and a hair dryer are, of course, provided. There’s also a brand-name washer-dryer, making long-term stays possible. The additional guest restroom makes living together as a large group easier. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, a large refrigerator with a freezer compartment, stovetop burners, an oven, a Nespresso coffee machine with a milk frother, a toaster, a kettle, a microwave, and a full set of dishes. The dining table seats 8 people and offers a bright atmosphere thanks to a large window.

The apartment has 3 large bedrooms, each with 2 king-size beds (which offer a wonderful, cozy feel thanks to high-quality mattress toppers, pillows, and comforters). If you’d like, you can enjoy video content on the 55-inch Fire Smart TV, which includes Netflix, Amazon Video, and regular TV channels. You can also use your own accounts for all the usual streaming services, etc., here.

The apartment has 1,000 Mbit high-speed internet and plenty of space to work on a laptop.

Our goal is maximum customer satisfaction: please let us know if there’s a problem that needs to be resolved or if you’re missing anything.

We’re happy to provide a small starter supply of coffee, tea, milk, sugar, sweetener, dish soap, laundry detergent, shower gel, and shampoo so you don’t have to worry about a thing when you first arrive. Our towels and bed linens are sourced from high-quality hotel suppliers. Arrival and Departure:

• Check-in: anytime from 4:00 p.m.

• Check-out: anytime by 10:00 a.m.

• The building and apartment doors are opened by entering a code

• The Duisburg Karlstr. train station is right outside the front door; the train takes 11 minutes to reach Duisburg Central Station

• Free street parking is available within a 2-minute walk, even for large cars. It’s safe because there’s a police station right across the street

• First floor; stairs must be used

• Only 5 minutes to the nearest highway on-ramps.

• Centrally located in the Ruhr region. The Düsseldorf Trade Fair is only a 30-minute drive away

• Numerous shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Extra Services:

• Late check-out can be booked for an additional fee, subject to availability

• For long stays, we will clean the apartment, make the beds, and change the towels every 2 weeks upon request

Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire property. Pets and parties are not permitted. A device that measures noise levels and cigarette smoke is installed in the apartment (no parties). The apartment can be booked for photo/film shoots and is permitted only by prior arrangement. Please inquire in advance for a quote!
