The Gathering Place is just that — a spacious, comfortable family home made for spending time together. Located on a quiet residential street in the Village of Chester, the house offers plenty of room for extended families, groups of friends and multi-generational getaways. With five bedrooms, several gathering spaces, a large dining area, a private backyard and seating for everyone, it's particularly well suited to groups who want to be together without feeling crowded.

For nearly 15 years, this has been our family home and a place where we've welcomed friends and family, gathered around the table, celebrated special occasions and simply enjoyed being together.
When we welcome guests, we hope they'll enjoy the house in much the same way — as a place to settle in, make themselves comfortable and spend time with the people they've come to Chester with.

Located on a quiet residential street in the Village of Chester, the house offers plenty of room for extended families, groups of friends and multi-generational getaways. With five bedrooms, gathering space, an extendable dining table and a backyard, it's particularly well suited to groups who want to be together without feeling crowded.

This is a genuine, well-loved family home — not a newly built or highly stylized vacation property.
Its appeal is in its space, comfort, character and the ease with which a group can make themselves at home here.
It's a place to cook together, gather around the table, play games, relax and enjoy time together.


The Space:
The main floor is bright and open, with large windows overlooking the backyard and plenty of room for everyone to gather.
The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking for a crowd, with stainless steel appliances and a double oven.
Our dining table can be extended and seats 10+ for larger groups.
The living room offers comfortable seating, while the layout of the house gives larger groups room to spread out.
One of the things our guests regularly tell us is how well the house works for groups — there's enough space for people to gather together while still allowing others to find a quiet corner or head to bed.

Outside, you'll find the backyard with outdoor seating and dining area, a propane BBQ and chiminea for relaxed evenings at home.

* Primary bedroom — King bed, ensuite bathroom with shower, sink, toilet and walk-in closet

**Second Floor - Accessible through door off living room and stairs leading up**

* Fourth bedroom — Queen bed, accessed by its own stairway

**Lower Level**

* Fifth bedroom — Queen bed
* Sitting area with queen pull-out sofa

In the Village of Chester The Gathering Place is located in Chester proper, on a quiet residential street surrounded by mature trees and established homes. You'll be within walking distance of the shops, restaurants, cafés, galleries, parks and other attractions that make Chester such a special South Shore village.

The property is not waterfront and does not have an ocean view. What it offers instead is the opportunity to stay right in the village, with Chester shops etc. close at hand and a peaceful residential home to return to at the end of the day.

A Home Made for Gathering - Over the years, this house has hosted countless dinners, celebrations, weekends with friends and visits from extended family.
That's really where the name The Gathering Place comes from.
We hope our guests use it in the same spirit: fill the table, cook together, let the kids spread out, stay up talking, sleep in, explore Chester and come home at the end of the day to a place where everyone can be together.

There's ample parking, with room for approximately six vehicles in the semi-circular driveway as well as street parking.

We give our guests their space during their stay, but we're always available by phone, text or email if you need us.

- check in is anytime after 4pm and before 9:00pm - Please advise and if you require a later check-in for approval.
- Check outs are any time before 10am
-Hot tub on site is non operational and scheduled for removal and must not be used in any way at any time
- Absolutely no parties
- refunds: 50% refund if cancelling more than 60 days from check in. no refunds for cancellations within 60 days of check in.
We have a Strict No Parties or Events Allowed policy.
Refundable Damage Deposit applied to each stay.
Guests must sign external rental Agreement.
