Sleep up to 12 in a beachfront Bay Creek retreat with direct backyard beach access, three furnished decks and a garage game room. This three-level home offers five bedrooms, five full bathrooms, two king beds, three queen beds and a queen sleeper sofa in the first-floor office.

Gather in the second-floor living area with a sectional sofa and four swivel chairs. The main kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator/freezer, range and oven, dishwasher, microwave and drip/Keurig coffee maker. The dining table seats eight, with four more seats at the breakfast bar.

First floor: king bedroom with ensuite bathroom, queen bedroom, hall bathroom, office with queen sleeper sofa, laundry room and garage game room.

Second floor: king suite with ensuite bathroom and balcony access, queen bedroom, additional full bathroom, kitchen, dining and living areas.

Third floor: an open-concept queen sleeping area with its own living area, kitchenette, dining area and full bathroom. This sleeping area is not an enclosed bedroom.

The game room includes an arcade game, skeeball, shuffleboard, foosball, cornhole and board games. Outdoors, enjoy seating on all three decks, a propane grill and a backyard fire pit. Ten beach chairs are available in the game room.

Located in Marina Village, BayGlass Cove is in a gated community a short distance from downtown Cape Charles. Golf carts are available for rent or ride a bike to downtown. Fine dining, art galleries, a pharmacy, clothing, and boutique stores await. Guests have free access to the Bay Creek amenities that include the private community pool (in season), tennis & pickle ball courts, nature trails and the private beaches.

This home includes complimentary access to a variety of Bay Creek Resort amenities, perfect for active and nature-loving guests. Enjoy a junior Olympic-size pool, tennis and pickleball courts, a private community beach, and over 10 miles of scenic hiking and biking trails winding through a stunning 365-acre nature preserve.

Please note: Access to the Bay Creek Life Center is not included, nor available for purchase.

Guest Access:

This home uses keyless entry for self-check-in; your door code is sent by email and text 2 weeks (or less) prior to arrival. Early check-in and late check-out are available upon request (subject to availability). Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance.

• While the complimentary resort amenities of the Bay Creek Resort are included, please note the Members Life Center is not available to guests.

Guests have direct beach access from the backyard. Driveway parking accommodates up to five vehicles. The attached garage is a game room and is not available for parking. Bay Creek requires vehicle hangtags; use the gate touchscreen to call the guard on initial arrival. Hangtags are provided at the home. Guests have access to the Bay Creek community pool and tennis court area; these are shared amenities, not a private pool.

Noted on the National Register of Historic Places, Northampton County's Cape Charles offers one of the largest concentrations of turn-of-the-century buildings on the East Coast. The historic district and small-town atmosphere create a serene and inviting community. Enjoy the history and experience galleries, boutiques, bookshops, and beautiful beach! Cape Charles Town Beach is the only free public beach on the Easter Shore of Virginia.

Interaction with Guests:

Our goal is that your vacation exceed your expectations. Chesapeake Properties by Portoro communicates via email and phone. After a booking is confirmed, rental agreement will be emailed to the guest for e-signature. Check-in instructions are sent by email and text message 14 days (or less) prior to arrival date. We offer convenient keyless entry for self-check in. We do typically check in with guests by text 1-2 times during their stays to ensure a 5-star experience and remain available for any questions. We are available to guests 24/7 for any inquiries.

• We cannot guarantee early check-ins or late check-outs, as both are subject to availability. Please contact us 24 hours prior to check-in to submit your request.

House Rules & Important Information
By booking with Chesapeake Properties by Portoro, guests agree to the guidelines below to help ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable stay.

• Portoro Rental Agreement + Identity Registration. All guests staying at one of our Portoro homes are required to complete identity registration and sign a rental agreement via e-signature. Non-compliance may result in sizable fines.
• Age Requirement. The reservation holder must be 25+.
• Arrival Support + House Manual + 24/7 Support. Upon arrival, Portoro aims to ensure your safety, proper access to the home, and understanding of guest features. All guests are required to read the house manual upon arrival. If you have any questions, please reach out to Portoro, our team is available 24/7.
• Directions + Check-In Details. Before check-in, Portoro will send all check-in details, detailed directions, and a digital guest guide for the home by email and text to help ensure a seamless arrival.
• Check-In / Check-Out (Early/Late Requests). Check-in is 4:00pm and check-out is 10:00am. We can't guarantee early check-ins or late check-outs, and a fee typically applies. When approved, fees apply for times outside a one-hour window of standard check-in/check-out. If you need significant flexibility, the best option is to book an additional night.
• Parking Restrictions. Boats, campers, RVs, trailers, and similar vehicles are not allowed in condo complexes. If you need parking for boats, campers, RVs, trailers, or similar vehicles, please contact Guest Experience for nearby storage locations or any property-specific options.
• Local Taxes (Including Extended Stays). Both the local jurisdictions (Town of Cape Charles, Northampton County) and the State of Virginia require hotel/vacation rental hosts to collect hotel tax. We collect these taxes within the booking transaction. Please inquire separately for terms and conditions.
• Animals/Pets, No Pets. This is a no pets property. A $150/day fee will apply for violations, and you may be asked to vacate the premises with no refund (at the discretion of Portoro). Portoro follows ADA guidelines, and any additional community or HOA rules may apply.
• No Smoking. This is a no smoking property. Penalty fees apply for violations, and you may be asked to vacate the premises with no refund at the discretion of Portoro.
• No Parties or Events. Parties and events are not permitted.
• Quiet Hours. 10:00pm-8:00am. These hours reflect local residential and regional expectations, please keep noise low and be mindful of neighbors.
• Report Damages. Any known damages incurred during your stay must be reported to the property manager immediately.
• Security. Some Portoro properties have exterior-only cameras for monitoring.
• Local or Property Water Features. Some Portoro properties may have pools, hot tubs, or other nearby water features. There is no guard around water features, use at your own risk.
• BBQs/Grills, No Personal Units. Personal BBQs/grills (including charcoal, propane, electric, or portable units) are not permitted on the property. Please use only the grills provided for guest use, if available.
• No Feeding Wildlife. Feeding wildlife is strictly prohibited at all properties to avoid damage and nuisance issues. In condo complexes or HOA communities, fines may apply for violations. Additional cleaning, sanitation, and remediation fees may also apply at the discretion of Chesapeake Properties by Portoro and/or the HOA.
The home is regularly treated for pests, but occasional insects may still appear.
